Miley Cyrus: "I've Never Seen American Idol. It's Something You Have To Get Into And I Don't Have Enough Time."
Hard working Miley Ray Cyrus doesn't have enough time to watch American Idol, but she still has enough time to post YouTube videos constantly! Tongue wagger Miley waltzed down the red carpet and performed for Idol Gives Back at the Kodak Theatre on Sunday in Hollywood. She told the press:
"I’ve never seen a single episode. Ever. It’s something you have to get into from the beginning and I don’t have time! My parents are from Kentucky so I've seen children in need my whole life. I think so many people go, well, this is America, that doesn't exist. But it does exist. It gets overlooked."

Heck I don't have enough time to watch American Idol either, and yet I do other things. I don't think it's that important what she does or doesn't do with her time. Besides, it is also one of those shows that at least for me is hard to get into part way through the season.

I highly doubt Miley has a thing for Ryan, but Ryan I'm not so sure about. He's made one too many jailbait jokes for it to seem like a joke. He seems a little hung up on her. I don't think she's "trying" to be sexy. That just seems to be her natural feel. The dance moves are choreographed and pre-approved by disney, so it's not like they would think it inappropriate.

I think she's right! She has a crazy schedule and doesn't have time to watch it and it's one of those shows you can't start mid season. As for the youtube videos... she does those on her free time! American Idol isn't set for her schedule jeez she can do whatever she wants on her free time!! I just think it's great she talks about real issues like children in need not just her inability to watch A.I. and she actually does something about it!!

Man, this really bites!
You guys get all the good stuff while folks like me (living in other countries) have to survive on crumbs - or internet images. I'm really hoping they broadcast this program down under, because I'm going out of my mind trying to imagine how Miley looks performing See You Again (one of my favorite songs).
Haven't seen her 3D movie either (waiting for the DVD), so I'll just have to keep on dreaming I guess. Ah, such is the life of a Mileyfan. <3

Actually, just remembered... they ARE broadcasting it in Australia but it's on cable. And I don't got cable. Nor do I have the time or inclination to get into mainstream shows (like American Idol).
Yeah, it bites that I can't drown myself in Miley Memorabilia, but being a true fan comes from the inside - feelings are more important than possessions (although nothing compares to the 'feeling' I got when I received a hand-written thank you card from Stacy Ferguson). Wow, I am SO the hypocrite! :D

There's poverty in America too. It's not just a 3rd world country issue. She probably went to Kentucky because it's a place close to her heart, as well as her father's. Some of the celebs went to Africa, others went to California, she went to Kentucky.
