Miley Cyrus Makes 'Britney' Faces For The Paparazzi, Is She The 'All- American Girl'?

In related news, the popular teen novel 'All- American Girl' by Meg Cabot has been taken off the shelf by Disney and is once again going into production. The book was previously optioned in 2004 with Raven Symoné considered for the role of..

..Samantha Madison, a girl who gains nationwide attention after saving the life of the President. After some dispute over casting decisions and the screenplay, the rights to the book were returned to Cabot.

Now Miley Ray Cyrus has been asked to play the starring role. Disney hopes to launch her into movies further by casting her in 'All- American Girl' with a release date of early 2010.

Mmmkay, genius. Do you realize that this movie would most likely be released in theaters? Disney will talk about sex on the big screen, just not on the disney channel(ie pirates of the carribean). And no, miley would not take that role because it would ruin her image in the eyes of her 5 year old fan's parents. And they can't just take the sex talk out of the book, its a big part of it.

If you really think she didn't get Hannah montana because of her dad, you're extremely naive. Take it from someone who's been acting a long time: Her audition tapes weren't very good, and the fact that she got to audition more then once tells me it was because of her dad. In an audition when you're a regular person who doesn't have a famous dad, you get to audition ONCE. There's no second chances, no making yourself look older, none of that. The only reason they even gave her a chance was because of her dad, and I can guarantee you that there were so many people better then her that auditioned for that part, considering they auditioned every girl in the country, and spent 2 years doing it. Do you really think out of every girl in the country, she was the best actress and singer? And, might I add, that you don't know what went on behind the scenes. You don't know what strings her dad pulled, you don't know what connections they had, you just don't know. Most of the reason people get parts in the business are because of connections, not because of talent. I'm not a Miley hater, in fact I like the show, but I think you all are very naive to think that she got the part just based on her "talent". I also think that if she does this movie it will do terribly, because she'll forever be stereotyped as Hannah Montana, not any other character that she might play in the movie.

I think Miley got the part in Hannah Montana partly because of her father, but also because of her talent. Not many girls I know our age (I'm the same age as her) can play instruments, act, sing, and write their own songs. But of course it helped that her dad is Billy Ray Cyrus. But, I had never heard of him until I saw him in Hannah Montana. And also, Hannah Montana is popular because it is something that kids like. Even I like it! And it sets a better example than many other shows. Personally, I'd like to see her acting some other character than Miley Stewart/Hannah Montana, something other than a comedy-only part. See what she can do :)
