Miley Cyrus Suffering From Strep Throat
'Girl's Night Out' singer Miley Ray Cyrus is reportedly battling a bad strep throat infection. Miley, Mommy Tish, brother, sisters, grandma and assistants were spotted boarding a Disney $50 million Gulfstream jet to Nashville on Saturday.
Sickly Miley Ray waited on the tarmac for a doctor to bring her pain medicine. Hopefully Miley doesn't end up in the hospital as she is supposed to host the 2008 Country Music Awards on Monday night! Ooohh..Poor Miley! Strep is a nasty thing to deal with. I thought she sounded sick on Idol gives back. I know they taped it last Sunday, so most likely she has been suffering from it for some time.
I hope she gets better soon, I was so looking forward to hearing her and Billy Ray perform at the CMT's, but if she can't sing I hope she can still be there.

i don't really think itll affect her performance of "Ready, Set Go" considering how lip syncing is ALWAYS an option, since i really don't think that they would cancel it.

Billy Ray could just sing his solo version of the song. Miley really should NOT be singing if she is recovering from Strep. Everyone knows now that she is sick, so it would be hard to explain a perfect lip synched performance.

Some of you people are just rotten to the core. Strep throat is incredibly serious, and has varying degrees of illness. She could be in so much pain right now because of it. Have a fucking heart.

strep can last a while but you are only contagious for 2 to 3 days hopefully she will be ok to sing and host.

Wouldn't you wish everyone who's sick to get better? That's what they are doing and the people talking shit are only doing it because it's her so shut the fuck up... as for the people who said they had strep and it doesn't matter.... uh I'm sure when you had strep you missed school stayed home and just watched tv all day... Miley on the other hand still works hard and has important things to do, she's super excited to host the cmt's and perform and most people have a heart and would like her to get better so she can do that! Jeez

Its annoying, but not that dramatic. Its actually really common.
All you need is antibiotics and a few days at home.
Lol but it would be hilarious is miley lost her voice for the CMAs. Why is she hosting it? She's not even a country singer.

I had a serious case of strep throath when I was little. It was so painful. I remember asking my mom if I was going to die. It's been a while, so I might remember it worse than it was, but I still feel sorry for her.

I get step around 5 times a year.. i already had it 3 times this year!!
I have a problem with my immune system and I get it alot. Its not that bad. I preformed a show on broady in boston with Step... she can do the music awards..
