Nick Jonas Diabetes 'A Little Bit Longer'

Nick Jonas' diabetes inspired him to write 'A Little Bit Longer' the title track to the Jonas Brothers' third album coming out this summer. Nick revealed to People magazine:

'It's actually a song that has to do with diabetes. We were up in Canada filming Camp Rock. It was one of those days where my blood sugar was a little out of control, and I was kind of bumming. I walked by this room in the hotel we were staying at, and it was so weird, all of the sudden there was this big ballroom with a piano in it. It was like a scene out of a movie. So I went in there, sat down at the piano and wrote the song. Later on I played it for the cast, and they all loved it.'

Nick also admitted he drinks a lot of Sugar Free Red Bull and Diet Coke because it 'keeps his energy up.. I love Diet Coke. I really got into it once I got diagnosed with diabetes, because I couldn't drink regular Coke and I really like Coca-Cola. I probably have about four a day.' Lyrics and clip under!

Record companies have been giving out deals like candy... as long as your famous or you can make up some generic trash. If they see $ potential... they'll give it all to you. There are few people nowadays that have a record deal and are very talented.

Jonas Brothers are cute and unique.

That's totally not true. My mom just turned 50 and she has Type 1 Diabetes. She got it when they didn't know what to do with diabetes. Now, they have the technology to know.

Thats not true. My cousin has had it since she was 5 and she's like 50 now. Nick shouldn't have 4 diet cokes per day! That's really unhealthy and it is causes brain tumors.

uhm, if you take care of yourself when you have type 1 diabetes you will be PERFECTLY fine and can lead a long, happy amazing life, much as nicholas will do.

People read the article!! He doesn't have lukemia!! He has Diabetes! and he will live past 40 ok? not to be mean but get ur facts right! My dad has Diabetes although he has Diabetes type 2 and thats a little different. My cousin also has diabetes but hers is type 1 like Nicks and she is 19 and has had it since she was 7. My grandma also had diabetes but she's dead now (not cuz of the diabetes). He's gonna live and be just fine. Don't get all sad and start crying!! It's just fine as long he does his treatments! I sometimes think I might get diabetes cuz my dad and others in my family have it but I know I would do just fine with it like NIck is and if i got it he would inspire me even more!
