Shia LaBeouf 'Fame Is A Drug, It's Addictive'
Indiana Jones star Shia LaBeouf recently had a very personal interview with The Daily Telegraph where he talked about life in Los Angeles and how he had to drop some of his old friends.
On what is does when he's not working:
"I enjoy every moment and the bad things come up when you’re not working. The negative aspects of this industry happen in the off time. I’ve spent more time at home recently because the last two movies I shot have been made in LA so, yes, I’ve had some time at home. I hang out with my dog, read and I’m into my sports. I have about five close friends and we sit and talk a lot."
On old friends he had to drop:
"You see, the people I’ve known for a long time, their mindset changed and they stopped being friends with me and started being friends with what I do. That’s been the hardest decision, losing friends and getting rid of the people who are bad eggs. But that’s what happens with transition.
I could never have foreseen what was going to happen. Fame is a drug, it’s addictive. But this isn’t who I am, it’s what I do. You have to maintain separation or you lose your mind."
I wonder if he still talks to his Even Stevens costar Christy Carlson Romano? She basically disappeared.

Soooo agree with Shia. Now there's a guy that you're gonna see someday at the Oscars. Well, if I remember correctly, his film Surf's Up was at the Oscars. But, it was animated. Give it a couple of years. This guy is huge right now, and will be bigger soon. Even Harrison Ford said so!
