Meaghan Jette Wanted Demi's Mitchie Role?

Meaghan Jette Martin told World Talk Live [Via Starlit] that she originally auditioned for Demi Lovato's lead role of Mitchie Torres in Camp Rock. But, casting directors told her to read for the role of Tess: 'I pulled out my inner Tess Tyler.. got a call back, and got that role.'

Meaghan added, 'I didn't even know the Jonas Brothers were
in it.' She only found out when they were in Canada, since they auditioned with other boys. Meaghan is currently learning the guitar and piano. Her entire family pulled together to help and support her career, and her grandfather even runs her website. She also 'calls' Joe Jonas.
