Professional skater/ Reality television star, Ryan Sheckler, has broken his arm just 4 days before a huge skateboarding contest, reports Skateboard.com.

He was favored to win the $100,000 first place prize. According to the source, 'multiple breaks to the arm have caused a bone chip to be a primary source of the continuous dislocations. The recent break has caused ligament damage.

It will surely force a reason for surgery, or at the very least, a plan for surgery in the near future. He has refused a cast and will compete in the Maloof Money Cup and upcoming DEW Tour in Cleveland, Ohio.'

Skateboarding stud Ryan Sheckler is the Miley Cyrus Myspace poser of the masculine world! Ryan got his acting start on his MTV reality TV series Life of Ryan and he has bigger hopes for the future (not just posing shirtless)! Ry dished to Popstar magazine that he wants to work with Emma Roberts:

"I am working on a couple of movies right now. Me and Emma Roberts are really good friends and I would definitely like to be in a movie with her."

What I like about Ryan is that he's so into posing for these photos. Miley thought she was being stealth in her seductive Myspace photos, but Ryan is all about flashing himself.

Ryan Sheckler In The Running For World Action Sportsperson Of The Year

Ryan Sheckler, star of the reality show, Life of Ryan, has been named among the nominees for this year’s Laureus World Sports Awards. Ry is in the running for the title of World Action Sportsperson of the year.

Aside from starring in his own reality program, Ryan has also risen through the ranks of extreme sports, particularly in skateboarding. He is a three-time Dew Tour Champion, as well as an X Games gold medalist.

Maybe, he didn't want to compete with her boyfriend Zac Efron, who looks super similar to him?! Also, Ryan has not even seen High School Musical! (I didn't know that was possible?) It's good to know that Zanessa is here to stay.. for now anyway.
